For those of you who know me well know that I've been working on this idea for a website for quite some time. I'm really trying to get it off the ground so I can expand into other areas.

Right now I just have my blog going, talking about all kinds of wonderful things, go and check it out.

As well I'm plannint on expanding to a weekly 10 minute cooking episode on youtube, those details are forth coming, but I'd love peoples opinions on that.

Unfortunately my readership is a little low at the moment, so now's the perfect time to get the word out. This week I'll be going over some menu and recipe ideas for thanks giving.

On a more regular basis though I'll be doing food and restaurant reviews, menu ideas, and recipes that focus on the foods that are in season and are more of a Colorado ideal. So please stop on by and take a look at http://sheetsculinaryfeats.com.

Hello everyone, I don't normaly post things like this but it's something that I really believe in. This sunday at 11 am on the west side of the capitol building steps the First Unitarian Society of Denver's Minister will be delivering a sermon entitled "Standing on the Side of Love."

This sermon will be specifically about the rights and beliefs of homosexual individuals, including their right for marriage and to be defined and supported as a family There is a great deal of diversity in this world, but it is not often that people will stand up and support that diversity.

I may be quiet sometimes, but I truly believe in that love is love no matter what and everyone should have the right to express it any way that they see fit.

If you are free this Sunday morning and want to lend your support please stop by and watch. The larger the group of people that attend the better it will be.

Why is it that the last few days before an event are always the longest, maybe it's just all of that damn anticipation.

Three more days until I am finally done at my current job and can move on with my life. I'm tired of dealing with the same people day in and day out. I'm tired of busting my ass for not even so much as a thank you, or a good job.

I know I can't expect much, the life of a chef is a lonely, thankless one. If you even hear one compliment a day you're probably doing great. 99.99999% of the time it is all complaints, what can you do better, I would have prepared the meal this way...

Blah, blah, blah.

Is it really so much to expect the basic niceties and politeness? That's the way I was raised, if you didn't say please you didn't get what you asked for and most of the time you weren't acknowledged. If you got something and then didn't say thank you, it got taken away, or you received a very indignant, "YOUR'RE WELCOME!" from the giver, and you had to say thank you then.

When did we lose ourselves so much that we stopped treating everyone else like human beings, instead of mindless drones that we have to share space with every moment of every day.

The hatred and animosity wears thin on me sometimes. I try really hard to keep a stiff upper lip and a thick skin, but somedays are worse than others. And today was one of them, maybe it was just a really long and tiring one.

Oh well, I'll go take a shower and try to forget. I think the thing I need the most is a damn hug right now, someone to just hold me for a few minutes and tell me it's all going to be allright...
