Creepy Crawlies
UGH! I went to check my mail just a few moments ago and came across the following hoardes of ants swarming the hallways. Decided to take a few pictures just in case we needed some proof. But right now my skin is crawling...blah!

well, there was obvious ant poison out, like industrial stuff. And they are all right next to the apartment of the local busy body, I'm sure they know. I'll have to check with her tonight when I get home maybe.

Ugh, that's horrible. I'm sorry for you. When I was a kid, our house got infested with fleas once. Little suckers hurt, but they are smaller and thus not quite as gross as the ants. Orkin fixed the problem...

The best stuff I ever found to keep ants at bay was this weird stick of chalk I picked up in a Chinese market. It looks like a regular stick of white chalk and comes in a green box. You just draw around where the ants are coming in...the ants will not cross that chalk line. It's also safe for pets (since you now have a cat to worry about). If you find yourself near an Asian market soon, you might want to go pick some up to keep on hand. It really helps for those times when the ant spray wears off.

And yes, your landlord absolutely should get an exterminator out there immediately. They may not make it as high of a priority as you'd like, so keep pestering them until they fix it. Ants can carry diseases and allergens, and they're considered a safety hazard.
